Goodness is the state of being good, kind, virtuous, benevolent, generous, and God-like in life and conduct.

What A God of Goodness We Have – There are proofs that our God is Good – in nature, purpose, intent, plans and actions Remember the song – Your Goodness Running Me After.
Are you eager to be good? God is deliberately in seeking out who to show kindness to? Remember – eye of the Lord search to and fro

DESCRIBING GOD’S GOODNESS (TO MAN)
1. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son – John 3:16
2. Planned his death and suffering with death for us.
3. Plan that he would rise – Isaiah 53.

DESCRIBING GOODNESS – FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT- GOODNESS
My goodness will pass before you.
The Lord is good and his mercies endureth.
The Lord is good to them that fear him and hope in his mercy.
Goodness is a combination of the mercy and kindness- of the Lord, of the spirit of the Lord fill a man, leading and directing a man. God is good and his mercy endures forever is always the complete way of stating the goodness of God in the scriptures, not just the Lord is good. – very instructive, defining and separating. – Ezra 3:11 | Ps 100:5
God is good and He is the light not just light. John 1:1-5
Therefore, there is no darkness in him anything that is not good is darkness
That God is love and loves us are also the basis of His goodness If God is not good He would not have the great idea to create the world, sustain the world and love is the way He does.
YOU AND THE GOODNESS OF GOD

Anyone that is born of Hod overcomes the world first by the goodness of the fruit of the spirit he has. It is a summary of his actions and in-actions Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. Ps 23:6
This goodness is from within you and generated by the Holy Spirit through your permission and submission.

THE NATURE OF BEING GOOD – HAVING THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT – GOODNESS – 1 Cor 13:4-8; Prv 13:22
1. Thinks no evil.
2. Does no evil.
3. Drunk with goodness.
4. Full of it to overflow.
5. Does not want it wasted but reaching and touching others.
6. Looking for opportunities to display goodness.
7. Not happy when he cannot show express goodness.
8. Wants to overwhelm others so that they become good and overflow with goodness.
9. Good without being asked, compelled or forced.
10. It is like an opened and gushing tap of water in your heart.
11. It is about all of you.
