INTRODUCTION
The word of God is God. God is a God of power. He does all things by and through his word, so his word is power. The word of power belongs to God. It proceeds from God. It is God that owns and sends the word of power. John 1:1-5; Ezek 20:4; Jer 19:3.
What are the implications of the word of power?
⦁ The words that I speak to you, they are spirit and life. John 6:63
⦁ He sent forth his word and his word heals them and delivers them from their destruction. Ps 107:20
⦁ Once our God has spoken it is done
⦁ God is the Almighty and all powerful, what he speaks is therefore power. Gen 17:1.
