The Expected Christian Life and Description
BIBLE PASSAGE – 1 Sam 16:1-13, Ps 22:24, Isa 40:28, Heb 6:10
INTRODUCTION:
Never for once think that God has abandoned you or left you to your own predicament. He hears your every cry and notices your tears and He will in due time bring you lasting joy.
In our main Bible passage, we have the following understanding:
⦁ God’s time is sure – Ps 22:24, I SAM 1:20, Act 3:1-8
⦁ There is divine intervention.
Every miracle is nothing but a product of divine intervention. Until you accept his report, you are not entitled to his intervention. John 5:1-9.
⦁ Believe his word. Matt 8:8, Matt 24;35, Mark 13:31, Lk 21:33
Whenever your faith comes alive, all battles are converted to miracles.
Today, receive grace to constantly embrace and believe his word that will enable you enter into the supernatural realm.
⦁ Men may forget you- Isa 49;15, John 1:9
David was the last of his father’s eight sons. He had always been used as an errand boy looking after the family’s sheep and going from one place to the other
⦁ Your present position matters less – Isa 40:28, Mark 10;46
Your Immediate Requirements
⦁ Surrender to Him.
All you need to do is to consciously surrender to him absolutely in all areas of your life, depending entirely on him, yielding to his counsel at all times no matter how foolish you think it seems. Lean not on your own understanding.
⦁ Hope on Him.
Any time you hope in God, there is a guarantee of a better tomorrow. For you serve a God whose track record speaks for itself – remember Job.
⦁ What he requires from you is to maintain your utmost confidence in his faithfulness to deliver and help those who put their trust in Him.
CONCLUSION
Therefore take courage and advance in confidence towards the fulfilment of God’s plans for your life this year.
