INTRODUCTION:

Why Heaven? Why Did God Create Heaven and Wants Us To Be There? Revelation 20:6 | Revelation 21:1 | John 3:16

i. Heaven and heaven on earth is the original plan.

ii. Heaven is a confirmation, proof and affirmation of God’s love for Man.

iii. It is the ultimate end of the work of salvation that the Lord Jesus came to do.

iv. It is those that God to heaven that have eternal life.

v. It is those that go to heaven now that can come back and live in the new earth the Lord will make.

vi. It is those that go to heaven that will reign with Christ.

vii. It is part of the reward for living holy and in obedience to the Lord Jesus.

viii. It is the opposite of hell and eternal damnation.

The Way To Heaven and How To Get There: Matthew 12:50

i. Those who know, believe, accept and live in the reality of having Jesus as Lord, Saviour and Master – Hebrews 10:34

ii. Those who become disciples of the Lord Jesus – Hebrews 12:23

iii. Those that seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness – Matthew 6:33 | Matthew 10:32 | Matthew 10:33

iv. Those who love holiness and living holy daily – in their thoughts, imaginations and deeds – Matthew 5:48 | 1Peter 1:16-17

v. Those who are winning souls into the kingdom of God regularly – Matthew 28:19-20

vi. Those who love their neighbours as themselves – Matt 22:37-40

vii. Those who are occupying for Jesus until he come – Matthew 16:19

viii. Those who are looking up to Jesus as the author and finisher of their faith – Hebrews 12:2

ix. Those who have no other God besides the Lord God Almighty – Deuteronomy 5:7

x. Those who are in covenant relationship with God – Deuteronomy 5:2 | Hebrews 13:20

xi. Those who flee from all appearance of evil – 1 Thessalonians 5:22

xii. Those love Jesus, his appearing and being with him forever. – 2 Corinthians 5:2

xiii. Those who become like to God and for God. – Matthew 18:3 | Matthew 18:4 | Matthew 19:14

xiv. The kingdom is for the prepare. – Matthew 25:1

xv. Heaven is a place of rewards. For those who have invested in heaven and kept treasures there. – Mark 10:21 | Luke 6:23 | 1 Peter 1:4 | Matthew 5:3 | Matthew 5:10 | Matthew 5:12 | Matthew 5:20 | Matthew 5:48 | Matthew 6:20 | Matthew 7:21

What Should I Do About Heaven? 2 Timothy 4:8 | 2 Cor 6:14-18

i. Let the thought of it fill your heart.

ii. Live heavenly by faith, by grace and in your practical life/living.

iii. Relate more with heavenly focused and minded people – 2 Cor 6:!4-18.

iv. Why? If you do not accept by faith and live in the reality of heaven now, you may not get there.

v. Heaven must be in your heart and fill your heart now and always for you to get there. Matthew 6:33 | Philippians 3:20

CONCLUSION

Heaven that we are really speaking about is beside the Lord God Almighty who lives forever. Yes, this heaven, the physical one shall pass away but there will be a new heaven – the one that is described in this study. It is not a child’s play preparing for heaven, living for heaven and dying for heaven.

INTRODUCTION:
Man, more than any other creature of God was conceived with the nature, traits, characteristics and spirit of the heavenly, in power and glory. Gen 1:26

No wonder he was made in the image and Likeness of God

No wonder he was given the privilege to partake in the creation

No wonder he was given the power to continue the work of creation

Heaven was in the heart of man. The garden of Eden was close to the heavenly.
In Genesis 3 and 4, man lost these and became earthly due to iniquity, sin and unrighteousness.

Man cannot however remain in this state. To state in this state is to die and perish in hell fire which was not his portion from creation. Man is created to be with God originally. This relationship with God is crucial and that is what can take him back to God and to heaven.

No wonder God made a way back to him and heaven for man. That is why God became man in Jesus, came to the earth, lived like man, took the sins and punishment of sin and atoned man back to God, making a way back to God and heaven.

No man is complete without heaven. No man can be man God intended and created with heaven in him, spirit, soul and body. That is man in his pureness and state.

Heaven – Spiritual, Destiny, Our Call, Our Home, Our Life and Our Living The Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 13:11

i. To make heaven you must become its citizen while on earth.

ii. Yes, in the kingdom of the world but belonging to the kingdom of heaven.

iii. It is like first having a dual citizenship.

iv. Make more way for others to the kingdom of heaven while on earth and making your way there.

v. The more you live for heaven, the more your rewards in heaven.

Heaven Is Beyond Our Imagination

Jeremiah 29:11 | Genesis 12:1-3 | 2 Chron 16:9 | 1 Cor 2:9

Heaven In Relation To Some Specific Attributes of God

To believe in heaven, we need to accept and live in the reality of who God is. Without this we may struggle to believe, accept and live in the reality of heaven. For when we accept the reality of heaven there will be a great change in us.

i. The Attribute of God, Omnipresent – Revelation 1:8 | Revelation 22:13

ii. The Attribute of God, Omnipotent: Revelation 19:6 | Exodus 6:3

The Patriarchs understood and related with God as The Lord God Almighty: Genesis 17:1 | Jeremiah 32:27 | Matthew 28:18

iii. The Attribute of God, Omniscient – Isaiah 40:28 | Psalms 139:8 | John 16:30 | John 21:17 | 2 Chronicles 20:6

Characteristics or Descriptions of Heaven

Secrets, many questions and inquiries shall answered in heaven and by heaven when we get there. Daniel 2:19
We shall be surprised that the heaven is bigger than the earth as we know it presently. 1 Kings 8:27
All prayers are answered and there shall be no need to pray but worship only. 1 Kings 8:35
We shall see the throne of God indeed, and many shall be able to seat on it. Psalms 11:4
There is no lack at all in heaven. All things are provided in excess. No one shall be poor, oppressed or beg in heaven. Malachi 3:10
The shall be no sin, iniquities nor unrighteousness in heaven. Matthew 4:17
The word of God will still exist in heaven. All natural laws, ideas and philosophies shall have no place in heaven. Matthew 5:18
We shall see the greatest temple of God ever imagined. Acts 7:49
Just has the earth is a physical place so is heaven but can only be seen and access spiritually Acts 17:24
There shall be new and unique names for all dwellers of heaven Ephesians 3:15
No devil nor evil in heaven. Colossians 1:16

CONCLUSION

What a joy unspeakable it shall be to be in end. It depends on you. Once you are focused on that decision to make heaven, then the Lord is glad and help you out. Remember you cannot seat on the fence, it is either heaven or hell.
